We will get in touch with you as soon as possible with an estimate of costs and details of whom to contact at Double & Megson.

 

Should you decide to proceed, we will guide you through every step of the way with our personal and friendly approach. We prefer to deal with clients in person, face to face. We do not have a multiple choice telephone system. You do not speak to a different person each time you telephone. Energy Performance Certificates

 

Following the Government announcement of the suspension of Home Information Packs with effect from the 21st May 2010 houses marketed for sale after this date will not require a Home Information Pack.

 

However, the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will be retained and an EPC must be commissioned before placing your property on the market. The EPC rates your home's energy efficiency and contains advice on how to cut carbon emissions and fuel bills.

 

Double & Megson can arrange for an accredited Energy Performance Assessor to evaluate your home and produce the EPC for only £50.  

 

We can also instruct an estate agent on your behalf and once the EPC is prepared we can provide you with a copy or arrange for it to be delivered to your estate agents.
